Day 6 (continued), October 22, Great Barrier Reef

Afterwards, Leslie and I walked along the boardwalk paths and out onto the beach, where we saw many snorkelers in the water and sunbathers on the sand. As we left the beach, we walked past a young couple sitting on the sand, the young man applying sunscreen to the back of his female companion, the latter, shall we say, unconstrained from the waist up. "Nice view", I remarked to Leslie, as we reentered the woods. Sorry, no picture of the sunbathers, but here are some more Green Island shots.

Leaving from the Big Cat were two side-excursions, one in a glass-bottomed boat, the second in a "semi-submersible". The semi-sub was the more interesting as you could see a lot more - the glass-bottomed boat view was obscured by air bubbles.
